About us
At J. Elle Innovations, we bridge the gap between creative beauty vision and rigorous cosmetic science. Based in Colorado, our women-owned, cGMP-compliant boutique lab partners directly with entrepreneurs, estheticians, and emerging innovators to make professional product development transparent, scalable, and accessible. Instead of being passed off to rotating account coordinators, you receive high-touch support and direct technical guidance every step of the way. From custom clean formulation and bench testing to agile small-batch manufacturing (50 to 5,000 units) and turnkey logistics, we work hands-on across skincare, haircare, body rituals, clean pet care, and home wellness—ensuring every batch meets the industry’s strictest retail standards, including Credo, Sephora, and EWG.

Founder/Formulator
I began my journey in personal care because I strongly feel that healthy, clear skin will boost a person’s confidence which is important for personal development and success. After completing my undergraduate degree at Colorado State University in Biology/Zoology, I completed an Esthetics licensure program and founded a business offering skin care services. I developed a keen understanding of not only what consumers look for in products, but also what spa professionals need. I went on to complete a masters degree in Toxicology, also from Colorado State University.
Soon after graduating, I started working for a brand/contract manufacturer. I began in a customer service position and quickly moved into a dual role of compounding bulk product and ingredient procurement and sourcing. This began my path to Product Development. I gained valuable experience in my early years of formulating, established strong vendor relationships, and eventually went on to lead both the R&D and Quality departments.
I was intrigued by the therapeutic properties of CBD and began working for a CBD Extractor/Manufacturer who supplied the ingredient into the personal care market. In addition to product development for our own brand and contract brands, I also had the experience of providing technical support for our customers who were formulating with our CBD.
After working extensively in CBD focused formulations I started to miss the rest of the personal care market. I realized my favorite feeling of success comes from artfully weaving together globally sourced ingredients to curate effective products with intriguing marketing stories that strengthen the brand philosophy, and thus J. Elle Innovations was born.
My strategy in formulation is to develop and deploy cutting-edge science to provide cleaner and greener product solutions that meet the ever-changing needs and demands of consumers as well as the planet. My formulation style blends an in-depth knowledge of leading technologies, with appropriate delivery systems and researched toxicology to develop effective and safe products.
